Staff Conflict Resolution Procedure

 

 

 

Deerfield Community School staff members shall resolve work-related conflicts or disagreements with administration in the following manner:

 

1.     Discuss the concern with your immediate supervisor to seek a mutually-acceptable resolution.  If unresolved;

 

2.     Discuss the concern with the principal.  If unresolved;

 

3.     Submit the concern in writing to the superintendent for review.  If unresolved;

 

4.     Request the written concern be submitted by the superintendent to the school board for its review and resolution.  Decisions of the Deerfield School Board are final.

 

This procedure is not intended to usurp any rights or procedures available under state or federal law or in an approved collective bargaining agreement.
