EMPLOYEE CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK POLICY
The Chichester School District will complete a background investigation, including a criminal records check, on selected applicants for employment in compliance with the requirements set forth in RSA 189:13-a.
The Chichester School District will pay the costs of the required criminal records check for selected applicants to positions paying a stipend of $2,000 or less per school year and to the positions of educational assistant, school custodian, school secretary, lunch director and lunch worker.
Processing of information received through criminal records checks will be the responsibility of the Superintendent of Schools and the Principal of Chichester Central School, and access to that information will be restricted to the Superintendent, the Principal, staff specifically designated by these administrators, and the Chichester School Board.
