Trimester Proposal

NECAP Testing Special Schedule - May 14
  All Juniors must take the Science NECAP (State Test).  On Wednesday, May 14 Pembroke Academy will have a late arrival day for grades 9, 10, and 12.  All grade 11 students must arrive at the normal time and report to the assigned classrooms

Schedule for May 14
7:30  - 9:55    Testing for Juniors
10:00 - 10:50  Block one (all students must be in school for block 1)
10:56 - 11:06  Advisory
11:12 - 12:02  Block 2
12:08 - 1:23    Block 3 and lunches
1:30 - 2:20      Block 4
May 15 - All students must report to school at the normal time!

Miscellaneous
Yearbooks can no longer be ordered in advance.  Seniors will receive yearbooks on Awards Night and some extra copies will be available then on a first come-come, first-serve basis.  the cost is $42.  Underclassmen will receive their books in advisory the next day (Class Day).  Any remaining extras will be on sale at lunch that day.
   
Attention Seniors
Scholarship information can be found on the scholarship page.  Visit it and the registrar's office often!
   
SAT - June 7, Registration Deadline - May 6.
   
Registration can be done by paper or on line.  There are practice materials for both SAT and ACT tests and further information available in Blanchard House and Walker House.  Fee waivers available for qualified candidates.  See your counselor as soon as possible.

    Western New England College, Springfield MA will be have a new Pre-Pharmacy program in the fall of 2009 and a Professional program in 2011

First Team Information
Cell phone and Toner/ink cartridge recycling - the FIRST team is recycling these items.  Please drop items off in the box in the main office
   
Search engine - the FIRST team has set up a search engine and will receive a small amount of money for each search done.  If you could use this search engine whenever possible, then the team would benefit.  NOTE:  There is no cost to you.  The URL is http://PAFIRST.prodege.com/
   
Did you know?
Outing Club is open to all students!  They have already been on several adventures and are currently planning many spring trips.  If anyone is interested in this trip or in any of their other excursions, stop by and see Mr. Miknaitis or Mr. Riel.
