SAU #53 - Friends of Music Association (FOMA)

Our Mission:  To provide leadership and support toward the goal of excellent music programs in each of SAU #53's schools.

Our Membership:  FOMA is comprised of parents, community members, students, teachers and administrators who share an understanding of the importance of musical education for all children and therefore have the common desire to see a rich variety of musical programs and opportunities throughout our schools.

Our Work:  FOMA works in three venues

• Providing information about the importance of musical education to parents, students and school decision-makers
• Seeking ways to support our schools' music programs logistically and financially
• Functioning as an advocacy group for the maintenance of musical excellence throughout our schools
