Standard Policies
A deposit of $50 is due at the time of registration, and the remainder of the tuition is due by the first night of class. Special payment arrangements can be made with the director in advance.
A full refund will be made upon request prior to the start of the course. A 50% refund will be granted after the first night of class. No refunds will be granted after that point.
Students should enter and exit only through the designated doors at the front of the building – near the auditorium and the SAU office. No other exterior doors should be used except in case of an emergency.
As prescribed by the New Hampshire Department of Education, more than two absences per course will result in a failure of that course.
Tardies are treated as follows: 10 minutes late to class = 1 tardy; 20- minutes late to class = 2 tardies; 30 minutes late to class = 1 absences. Tardies count at the beginning of class and after break.
Three (3) tardies count as an absences; not returning to class after break counts as an absence.
In compliance with that State of New Hampshire Law, no consumption of tobacco is allowed on school grounds. This law applies to adults and minors. Violators will be suspended.
Drug and alcohol use on school grounds will be addressed according to all local, state, and federal laws.
Any person who attends a class while under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the class. Indefinite suspension from the program may result.
It is implied that all students who are enrolled in courses will follow the rules and regulations set forth by the Pembroke Adult Diploma Program. It is understood that failure to do so may result in the student’s dismissal form the program.
