Fourth Grade

Welcome to Fourth Grade!  This year you will explore many exciting ideas in Science, Social Studies, Reading and Math.  In Science, we will study Plants, Matter, Weather, and the Solar System.  We will have a field trip to the Christa McAulliffe Planetarium in the spring.

Our study of New Hampshire history will benefit from field trips to the State House, The Museum of New Hampshire History, and Strawbery Banke Museum.  We will take a virtual trip around the world through our Continent Rotation.

As you become an independent reader, you will do more research in reading.  You will write reports and make PowerPoint slide shows about many subjects.  At the end of the year you will do the Fourth Grade Project.

Along with more independence, will come more responsibility.  As a fourth grader, you will have the opportunity to run the School Store and pop popcorn for Hill and Village Schools.  In the mornings, you can lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Fourth Grade teachers look forward to providing students with an enriched and rewarding experience.  Go Fourth!
