Update-
Mr. Connors passed out
Tom Rouillard spoke about proposing to save
the fence using a tension wire. The quote he was given for tension wire
cost $10,018. This additional work
would be above and beyond what Beeline wanted to do. Mr. Riel stated that this
type of fencing was not recommended. It
was asked whether a berme could be put in. Mr. Ellis answered was yes it was a
possibility and the quote he received was $6300.
Mr. Layne Thomas, who works for Jones and
Beech Engineering, stated that his company spoke to Mr. Showers from
There was question to review the initial FEMA
funding amount. Ms. Doughty stated the initial was around $31,000 originally
dispersed in two increments. The amount of $15, 865 was approved to be spent.
There was $10, 800 proposed for tonight.
There was a review of previous bills to determine how much has
previously been spent. In calculating the overall cost thus far is $10,490.03 with an outstanding bill of $4,000
for the first invoice. Ms. Doughty stated that the total of $16, 570.70 is
remaining amount of FEMA funding.
It was proposed by Deane Kellison that a
survey would be necessary. Mr. Thomas
stated that in order for a total land survey it would take a great deal of
research.
In reviewing the benefits of the berme, it
was stated by Mr. Ellis that it would only take a few days to be completed.
A motion made by Mr. Ellis to spend $6800 to
build a berme pending approval of

Yeaton made a motion to spend $4,000 for repairing the soccer parking lot and
roadway. Mr. Ellis seconded it.

Further discussion ensued regarding funds remaining
available.
A motion was made by Ms. Doughty to bring Mr.
Yeaton’s motion to repeal last vote of $4,000 to repair soccer parking lot and
roadway repair. Motion was seconded by Mr. Ellis:

Chair Barbara Doughty noted that no action was taken in the
non-public session.
A motion was made by Dave Goulet, seconded by
Deane Kellison, to stop payment of tuition for two students currently enrolled
at Pembroke Academy based upon results of a residency investigation finding
them residing in Bow, and further to seek repayment of expenses incurred for
the students’ education from the beginning of school through November 20, 2007.
