MINUTES OF MEETING            

 

PRESENT: Andrew Turnbull, Gordon Ellis, Bill Yeaton, Patrick Connors, Dave Dziura, Mary Frambach

 

1.   Call to Order

     

      School Board Chairman, Andrew Turnbull, called the meeting was called to order at            6:45     P.M.

 

2.   Pledge of Allegiance

 

      Gordon Ellis led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

3.   Immediate Business

 

A.     School District Treasurer Appointment

 

            Gordon Ellis made a motion to appoint Linda Martel to serve as School District Treasurer                     beginning January 1, 2006 and extending through the conclusion of the District’s current                            fiscal year.  Bill Yeaton seconded the motion.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED ON A VOTE OF

3 AYES TO 0 NAYES

 

 

      B.   School District Deliberative Session Date

 

            Andrew Turnbull explained that a request had been made by the Planning Board that the                              School Board reconsider the date set for the District’s deliberative session.  The present                              date conflicts with a scheduled meeting for the Planning Board.

           

            Following a brief discussion, Gordon Ellis made a motion to change the date for the                               School District deliberative session from Wednesday, February 8, 2006 to Tuesday,                             February 7, 2006 providing that no greater conflicts with this new date exist, in which                                   case the session will be held on the originally scheduled February 8 date.  Bill Yeaton                                    seconded the motion.

THE MOTION CARRIED ON A VOTE OF

3 AYES TO 0 NAYES

 

            The SAU will check with both the school district clerk and moderator to assure they have                      no conflict with the rescheduled date.

           

4.   Adjournment

 

      Upon hearing no call for further board discussion or action on issues, Andrew Turnbull         adjourned the meeting at 6:53 P.M.
