PUBLIC HEARING ON SCHOOL DISTRICT 2008-2009 BUDGET PROPOSAL

1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Nancy Fraher at 6:30 P.M.

2. Immediate Business

A. Presentation on 2008-2009 Proposed Chichester School District Budget.

Ben Brown presented the proposed 2008-2009 Proposed Chichester School District Budget.

B. Citizen Comments

Questions asked by citizens addressed the following items: reduction in force of one staff member due to drop in enrollment and class size, increase in special education expense, increase in school lunch program, increase in cost of Chichester’s contribution to Supervisory Union #53.

3. Adjournment

At 8:00 P.M. having no further call for additional business, Nancy Fraher adjourned the hearing.
