1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Poirier at 8:16 P.M.

2. Minutes of Previous Meetings – January 16, 2006 and January 23, 2006.

Ben Brown made a motion to approve the Chichester School Board Minutes for January 16, 2006 and January 23, 2006 as printed.

Nancy Fraher seconded the motion.

3. Citizen Comments

Irene Derosier reported on The Scholastic Art Awards exhibit at the Bedford Mall in Manchester, N. H. Allison McIntosh and Katelyn Berry, Chichester Central School students, were winners of Silver Key awards. Their award winning works are on exhibit in the Chichester Central School library.

Kate Mara invited any Board member and Administrator to join in reading to students at Chichester Central School during Read Across America week.

4. Immediate Business

A. 2005/06 Budget Update

Dave Dziura reported that the 2005/06 Budget remained out of deficit. Various aspects of the budget were reviewed by the School Board and Administration.

B. Review of Public Hearing and 2006/07 Budget Development

The Board reviewed areas questioned by citizens in attendance at the Chichester School District 2006/07 Budget Public Hearing. Further development of that budget proposal followed.

C. District Meeting Planning

John Poirier made a motion to approve the Warrant as developed subject to review of the final draft.

Nancy Fraher seconded the motion.
