TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2006, 6 P.M.

 

PRESENT: Tom Irzyk, Jason Carrier, Evelyn Guilbeault, Louise L’Heureux, Karen LaPlume, Peter Warburton

 

1. Call to Order

 

    The meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by Chair Tom Irzyk

 

2. Immediate Business

 

    The Board interviewed three Allenstown residents for the open board position:

 

    Mr. Carl Schafer

 

    Mr. Roger LaFleur

 

    Mr. Dennis Carmichael

 

3. Board Deliberations

 

At 7:40 a motion was made by Louise L’Heureux, seconded by Karen LaPlume to      enter non-public session under RSA 91 – A:3II(c) to discuss the candidates to the open board position. On a roll call, the board voted:

                                                        Jason Carrier                Yes

                                                        Evelyn Guilbeault          Yes

                                                        Louise L’Heureux         Yes

                                                        Karen LaPlume            Yes

The Board discussed the candidates for the open board position.

 

At 8:04 P.M. a motion to end the non-public session ws made by Evelyn Guilbeault, seconded by Louise L’Heureux. On a roll call, the board voted:

                                                        Louise L’Heureux         Yes

                                                        Karen LaPlume            Yes

 

Chair Tom Irzyk noted that no action had been taken in the non-public session.

 

4.      Resignation

 

Jason Carrier stated he would be resigning from the Allenstown School Board. A motion to accept the resignation of Mr. Jason Carrier, with regret, was made by Karen LaPlume, seconded by Louise L’Heureux.

5.      Appointment of Board Member

 

A motion was made by Evelyn Guilbeault, seconded by Karen LaPlume to appoint Mr. Carl Schaefer to fill the open board position.

6.      Adjournment

 

At 8:20 P.M., a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Karen LaPlume, seconded by Louise L’Heureux.
