Before employment can begin within our school district new employees must complete a Criminal Background Check in accordance with New Hampshire state law.  The fingerprinting MUST take place BEFORE the employee can start work in any of our schools.  

The new employee will make an appointment with the Department of Safety, Division of State Police.  The appointment is made by calling (603) 271-2538.  Ask to be scheduled for applicant fingerprinting.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.  Arrival of more than 10 minutes late will require you to reschedule at another date and time.  The process will take approximately 20 minutes.  (missed appointment could delay the start date for work)  

Location:  Department of Safety Building , 33 Hazen Drive , Concord , NH   03305   First Floor, Room 124  

Hours of Operation:  Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

Required Documents:  

  • Photo identification (i.e., Passport, Drivers License, or State ID).
  • Completed Criminal Record Release Authorization Form (Click the link to access the form.  Please print, complete and bring to your appointment.)
  • Payment by Check or Money Order (Credit Cards Not Accepted – NO CASH)

Fees  ($10.00 processing fee is included):

  • $44.25 for employment
  • $36.75 for volunteers

The new employee will receive a receipt from the Department of Safety, this will be the “proof” of accomplishing the task, and will be used to reimburse the employee.  The employee will be reimbursed the full amount of their cost.

Once the receipt has been delivered to this office, and the appointment has taken place with our Human Resources Department, the employee is allowed to start their new position.
